Using Tea to Shower
Using Matcha Green Tea Powder
Make a cup of strong Matcha Green Tea by mixing 1 TBSP Matcha Green Tea powder with one cup boiling water.
Wisk until blended
Mix with ¾ cup castile soap
Add a few drops of scented oil
When all ingredients are mixed together:
Massage into skin
Rinse with warm water
Matcha tea is a great all natural way to exfoliate the skin and helps create a clean even complexion.
For best results, store in the refrigerator
OR
Make a Matcha Tea body scrub by adding:
1 TBSP Matcha Green Tea Powder whisked with 1 TBSP hot water
1 Cup coarse Sea Salt or Sugar
1 TBSP any oil
Mix all ingredients together, adding water as needed.
Massage into damp skin
Lather, and Rinse with warm water
This is a great way to naturally exfoliate the skin, removing dirt and dead skin creating a smooth, even complexion.
Using Tie Guan Yin or Oolong Tea
You can make all natural body wash using Tie Guan Yin or Oolong Tea:
Use the brewed tea from Tie Guan yin or Oolong Tea
Make an 8 oz cup of very strong tea by adding TBSP Tie Guan Yin or Oolong Tea to boiling water
Steep about 15 minutes
Add ¾ cup castile soap to the brewed tea
A few drops of scented oil (lavender oil would work very well!)
Mix all ingredients
Massage into damp skin
Lather, and Rinse with warm water
This will help to clean the skin without drying and create a smooth even complexion.
For best results, store in the refrigerator.
Using Peach Flower + Red Rose Bud + Lavender Together for Sensitive Skin
First, brew a very strong 8 oz cup of this tea
Add:
1 TBSP Peach Flower
1 TBSP Red Rose Bud
1 TBSP Lavender
Steep in 8 oz of boiling water for 10-15 minutes
Mix the brewed tea with ¾ cup castile soap
Add a few drops of scented oil (Lavender or Rose would work very well!)
Add the mixture to damp skin
Lather, and rinse with warm water
This soap is all natural and delicate enough for sensitive skin. It will also help to soften and cleanse skin while creating a smooth even complexion.
