The appropriate amount of tea to drink every day varies. It depends on each person's drinking habits, age, health status, living environment, customs, and other factors. General healthy adults usually have the habit of drinking tea between 6 - 10 cups a day. Dividing it into two or three servings during the morning, afternoon, and evening is more appropriate. People with a higher physical capacity, consume more food, or have a larger body built, should not drink more than 1 ounce a day. Also goes for those that live in higher-temperature environments, or are exposed to toxic substances. It would be appropriate for people that don't eat very healthy, or that consume alcohol and tobacco, to increase the amount of tea. For pregnant women and children, it would be appropriate to reduce the amount.
