The warmer is solid black cast iron, and the removable grate has a built in texture to help grip your pot. To ensure your flame doesn’t burn out too soon there are air slits at the bottom of the warmer and top of grate for proper ventilation, and there’s a circle carved to hold your tea light candle in place. This warmer will keep your tea at the perfect drinking temperature for 3-4 hours, until it’s time to change the candle.
